The Donnet-Lévêque A was the first French seaplane and was inspired by the Curtiss floatplanes. It first flew on 15th March 1912 and attempted to fly to London on 9th August of that year though it had an accident at Boulogne. It is part of the Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace

This is a replica of the 1907 Voisin Farman. The original flew a straight 1km in January 1908. The replica was built for the Musee de l'Air in the Voisin factory as recently as 1919 !

The Morane H was a single-seat version of the Type G. Ronald Garros flew a Type H across the Mediterranean in 1913, and Tony Fokker had a very good look at one before building the Fokker Eindecker.
