The Aviation Technical Museum first exhibits were aircraft which required maintenance and had been sent to Luhansk Aircraft Repair Plant. Some aircraft remained there, and subsequently were written from use and preserved for display in the museum. The former user of this Ka-25 is the Soviet Naval Aviation, as can be seen from the navy's ensign.

This HP-43 (Yugoslav designation for the Ka-25PL) was taken on charge by the Yugoslav Air Force as 11323 in Nov-1974. From Apr-1992 it was transferred to the Serbia and Montenegro Air Force. It was withdrawn from use in Aug-1994 and stored at Podgorica-Golubovci. Its last flight was 16-Sep-1998 when it flew to the Muzej Vazduhoplovstva Beograd. The "IR" marking stands for Istrazivanje Raznoj and indicates that the aircraft is disarmed according to the Dayton agreement.

Ka-25 'Hormone' preserved at the Monino museum

The People's Air Force Museum makes for a fun bicycle trip from downtown Hanoi.

The BSh version (NATO reporting name 'Hormone-A') was developed for the anti-submarine warfare role and this example is on display in the Central Museum of the Air Forces at Monino.

This is a Ka-25PL locally known as HP-43. It sports the markings of the Serbia and Montenegro Air Force, that existed from 2003 to 2006.

The standard naval model of the Ka-25 is designated Ka-25BSh. It was known as Hormone-A to the West.

Dwarfed by large helicopters at Monino is the ungainly Ka-25.
