XG211 heads a line up of sixteen Hunters F6s of the Blue Diamonds display team from 92 Sqdn at Leconfield. XG211 was later refurbished by Hawkers as a Hunter F56A and delivered to the Indian Air Force in April 1969 as A943. (photographer unknown)

No less than sixteen RAF bases held Battle of Britain displays on 16th September 1961 of which Waterbeach was one. Freighter XJ470, ex G-18-193 was delivered to the A & AEE at Boscombe Down in February 1955 and flew with them until being withdrawn at Lasham in late 1968. Used for spares recovery and scrapped c1971. (Photographer unknown)
