VH-AFO was one of a batch of Moths built in 1930 by Lasco for the RAAF. They have no known c/n. A7-30 was issued to the Australian Aero Club (Victorian Section) and registered VH-AFO in October 1944. Photo is from the application for registration. VH-AFO was wrecked by a storm as Essendon in August 1948.

Crashed at Kerang, Victoria, on January 24, 1950. Pilot killed. LASCO (Larkin Aircraft Supply Co) had a contract to build 32 D.H.60Gs for the RAAF. Three survived military service to become civil registered

Built for the RAAF as A7-44. Registered as VH-AFN in 1945 then N168G in 1968 but still marked as VH-AFN.

Delivered new to the RAAF in 1930. In 1945 it was transferred to the Queensland Aero Club with registration VH-AFN. Exported to the U.S. and given FAA reg. N168G. It is currently with the Early Bird Foundation in Lelystad, Netherlands still with N168G.

Carries its actual registration N168G on the fin, and its previous registration VH-AFN on the fuselage and on the wings. Ex RAAF A7-44, licence-built by the Larkin Supply Co. (LASCO) in Melbourne, Australia. VH-AFN was cancelled on export to the USA on 21 May 1968, not long before this photo was taken.
