Built by Aeronautical Corp. of America Cincinnati 18/10/1938 50 hp Continental A50-3 engine. Ordered by Airflite Pty Ltd Mascot, Sydney, NSW. Registered 11/1/39. Registered to a number of owners throughout Queensland over the years. Aircraft shot at by unknown person while operating out of Archerfield, Brisbane, QLD. Inspection on 29/9/42 revealed two bullet holes through the right-wing spar - repaired by 15/1/43. Removed from register 1947 to 1956 - Restored and re-engined with a 65 hp Lycoming. Final owner K.R. Wilson, "Carinya" Station near Thangool, QLD. WFU 1974 and stored disassembled.

This was the sole Menasco M-50 powered Aeronca 50. A deal between Menasco and Aeronca broke down after 10 engines were delivered which were fitted KM Chiefs (nine built).
