This aircraft was built in 1948 and delivered to a Seattle timber company as N628B. Purchased by Flinders Island Airways and re-registered VH-FID on 9 June 1961. Operated by them until 1976 when retired and struck off the Register. Sold in 1979 and restored as VH-FID in 1980. Currently masquerading as an ex-RAAF aircraft, although no Beech 18s were ever operated by the service.

Built to a USAAF order as P-51D-20NT 44-13016 but allocated to the RAAF as A68-674: BOC 4 July 45, SOC 22 December 48. Fuselage ended up at Pearce Dunn's museum, Mildura 1966-82. Restored in the USA, first flight as N9002N in 1992. Re-registered as N5551D in 1997 and painted in current markings. Exported to New Zealand in 2004 as ZK-SAS. Acquired by Doug Hamilton and re-registered in Australia as VH-LUI(5) in 2022. Marked as 44-73060/LH-X 'Dove of Peace', a USAAF P-51D flown by WWII US fighter ace Col. Glen Duncan.

A Fury, not a Sea Fury, this aircraft was delivered to the Iraq Air Force in November 1953, serial 325. In 1979 the aircraft was recovered and shipped to the USA for restoration. It was rebuilt with a Wright R-3350 for air racing and painted in Royal Australian Navy colours. Registered N30SF on 27 August 1979 but made its first post-restoration flight in 1990. Re-registered N71GB on 13 August 2013. Exported to Australia to join the Paul Bennett Airshows flying circus and re-registered VH-HPB on 13 February 2024.
