The Ministry of Civil Aviation's Dove 2, with dark blue cheatline, staying overnight in Ringway's 1938-built original hangar with World War Two offices above. The aircraft was later upgraded to Dove 2B and Dove 6. Later transferred to the Civil Aviation Flying Unit and preserved at Duxford as of 1972.
