Marathon was a quick stop on the Miami to Key West route.

Delivered to TWA in 1952, and served with Piedmont before, and PBA after, Southeast. Starting engines for departure.

Delivered new to TWA in May 1952. Served Southeast from June 1972 until January 1976.

TWA was the first owner of this Martin in 6.52, bought by Piedmont in 12.62 and by Southeast some ten years later. In fine form with the innovative rear airstairs lowered, this classic was near the end of her service with the Florida regional at the time of this shot. PBA went on to operate her from the end of 1975, then in late 1986 she found herself working down in the Caribbean until dbr by Hurricane Hugo on 17.9.89 at San Juan, PR. Last noted derelict in a corner there in 2003 and presumed subsequently broken up

Built for USAAF as 41-38670. Served Southeast Airlines from 1967 until May 1972.

Delivered new to TWA in August 1950. Sold to Allegheny in September 1959. Operated by Southeast on intra-Florida schedules from December 1969 until withdrawn in 1972.

Operated by Southeast Airlines between May 1970 and its sale to Nor-Air Inc in May 1972.
