Delivered to the South African Air Force as Devon C.1 108 in 1949. Sold as G-ASUW in 1964 and converted to a Riley Dove with Lycoming engines. Sold as OO-BPL in 1967 then to Fairflight as G-ASUW in 1975 and Providence Commuters as N99254 in 1977. Cancelled from the register in 2012. Featured in the Queen's Ransom episode of the TV series The Saint in 1966.

This was built in 1949 so it was already an elderly airframe when seen here. It was exported to USA in 1977 as N99254 and was cancelled many years later, in November 2012. Scanned from a slide
