Returned to Douglas as N10DC 1977 and converted to DC-8-54F by exchanging the Conway engines for Pratt and Whitneys and delivered to Zantop as N4561B, Kalitta N803CK 1987. In 1992 Kalitta struck a deal with Air Zaire trading the overhauled airframe to them as 9Q-CLV receiving in turn DC-8-63CF 9Q-CLG which was in need of overhaul. Transferred to Lignes Aeriennes Congolaises 1997. While parked at Goma 2002 a lava stream cut the runway short with the aircraft unable to leave.

Reregistered N803CK in 1987. This aircraft was built as DC-8-42 for Air Canada with Rolls-Royce Conway engines. Converted to a -54(F) with Pratt and Whitney JT3D in 1977.

Delivered new to Trans Canada Airlines in 01.61 as DC-8-42/43 CF-TJH. Converted to 54F in 06.78 and operated by Kalitta 04.87 to 03.91. It stands next to the 1929-built hangar/terminal, first building erected on what was then known as Mines Field.
