Written off 14 Oct 1984 as N4416T near Suwon in South Korea. Another F-20 can be seen behind. That one is falsely marked as 83-1001 (not a valid serial).

Northrop demonstrator, ex 82-0062.

The Northrop F-20 Tigershark was a private venture in competition with the F-16. Also known as the F-5G it was a vastly improved version of the F-5E Tiger II. This was the first of three built and this one crashed on 10th October 1984 whilst on demonstration to the Korean Airforce and five months later another crashed in Alaska. No orders were ever placed. The aircraft here was originally allocated USAF serial 82-0062 and is seen at the Farnborough Airshow.
