1st production Beverley. First flew 29 January 1955. Registered G-AOAI 15 March 1955, cancelled 30 March 1955 upon transfer to the RAF as XB259. Struck off charge13 March 1973. Now the last extant Beverley. When photographed it was wearing Royal Aircraft Establishment titles (and some very tired looking dayglo orange).

Delivered to Luton on 14.03.73. Was to be used to move RB211 engines for Court Line but they went bust and its last flight was on 30.03.74 from Luton to Paull Airfield near Hull.

The world's last remaining Beverley is now one of the exhibits at the Fort Paull museum near Hull. Unfortunately not the easiest plane to photograph due to a horrible shed in the foreground (just visible in the right of the frame) and tail on all day to the sun.

Strangely in an Army museum, but residing in a town sharing the name. Originally registered as G-AOAI.

This ex RAE Beverley made its last flight into the grass-surfaced Paull airfield near Hull. It is now the last surviving example of the type and is located at Fort Paull.
