Delivered to Lufthansa as D-ABIH in 1964. To Boeing as N16767 in 1975 then to Prince Talud Bin Abdul Aziz as HZ-TA1 in 1976 and converted to VIP configuration. To Dan-Air London as G-BMZU in 1986 then sold as N96B in 1987. Reregistered as N700TE in 1997, N727EC in 1998, N665DH in 2008 then N606DH in 2009. Preserved at Port Alberni, BC from 2017.

Was one of the first of type in Europe when it flew for Lufthansa in 1964 as D-ABIH. Many ownership changes later it is here operated as a private aircraft and newly registered five days previously. In 2009 it became N606DH and on its last ever flight into retirement it did us the honor of clearing Customs here then departed to Port Alberni (CBS8).

Ex G-BMZU, registered 7th Oct 1987 and to N700TE 31st Dec 1996

Was one of the first of type in Europe when it flew for Lufthansa in 1964 as D-ABIH. Here it is departing on (probably) the last flight of its life to the small airport at Port Alberni in the Vancouver Island interior. Routing was along the east coast of the island at 4000 feet (IFR) then VFR through the mountain pass to destination. Must have been exciting for the crew, but a sad occasion non-the-less.

This Saudi B727 started its life with Lufthansa in 1964 and is seen here parked southside at Heathrow over 13 years later. This aircraft was still flying the world in 2008 as N665DH. Scanned from a slide
