Difficult to photograph clearly, given its suspended position in the crowded American Air Museum at Duxford. The original "Etta Jeanne II" was a P-51K variant (with an Aeroproducts propeller in place of the P-51D's Hamilton Standard one), which was lost when it ditched in the North Sea on 29 December 1944. The pilot, Capt. Huie H. Lamb, Jr., survived and was, fortunately, picked up from the frigid waters by an RAF Walrus amphibian.

Later to the Imperial War Museum, East Lambeth. Returned to Duxford in 2014 for display in the American Air Museum as '44-11631'.. Still present in 2023.

Actually 44-73979, ex 9246, RCAF. Previously displayed at IWM London this now forms part of the refurbished American Air Museum at Duxford. It had previously been marked as the famous 'Big Beautiful Doll' but it has now been restored to represent an alternative 78th Fighter Group aircraft, Duxford based between 1944 and 1945.
