To Davis Monthan as part of the KC-135 re-engining programme and later scrapped.

This Boeing 707 was originally VH-EBR seen here at Tullarmarine International Airport Melbourne Vic. as 9M-MCR.

VH-EBR was flown to Australia in February 1966 after delivery was delayed while modifications were made. In June 1974 it was sold to Malaysian Airlines as 9M-MCR.

This is a convertible pax/cargo aircraft with a large forward freight door fitted with windows. It is carrying an under-wing pod for a spare engine.

Seen here on the way back to the US, this is the former VH-EBR of Qantas and 9M-ATR/9M-MCR of MAS which, after service with the Somali flag carrier from 2.80 to 3.85, ended up like so many 707s being used for parts in the KC-135E programme. Finally broken up at Davis Monthan 2.92
