Built in 1946 as N37501 for United Airlines. Withdrawn in 1968 and re-registered as N375ED in 1973. Converted to a freighter in 1975 and subsequently operated by various freight companies. Re-registered as N19544 in 1981, N117PM in 1984, CP-2110 by 1991 and CP-2250 in 1993. Seized by the Peruvian Government at Lima in 1995 and with the Peruvian National Police as PNP-236 by 1997. Transferred to the Peruvian Air Force as 381 in 1997 and withdrawn at Lima by 2001. Preserved and displayed at its current location since 2005.

Among a long list of other operators was Mackey International as N375ED. From Oct 83 it went on to fly with several more operators finishing with the Peruvian Air Force as 381. Reported as retired in late 1997 after 51 years in service.

Flew for AA from 10/47 to 11/66. Cvtd to (F) 4/67, and later cvtd to tanker for fire fighting.

Built in October 1947 for Braniff Airways as N90883. Sold in January 1966. Converted to freighter in 1970 for operation by CLT from March 1970 until April 1972.

Built in March 1948 as a pure DC-6 short fuselage passenger aircraft for KLM as PH-TPI. Sold in 1964. Converted to freighter and operated by Aerocosta from July 1970 until withdrawn in August 1972.
