Middle Wallop hosted the 2nd FAI World Helicopter Championship in July 1973 culminating with the Army Air Day on 28th July. The display opened with representative aircraft flying past, the lead aircraft carrying their team/country flag. This DOSAAF aircraft, 02 was the second in the flypast from the winning Soviet Union team. Has "TsAK" (Central Aero Club) logo on the engine.

This SM-1 has now been restored (although it was discovered to be in relatively good condition anyway) and has been placed on display in the main hall at the Letecké Muzeum Kbely.

This Hare is pictured in the restoration area of the Kbely museum. Note the remains/scrap of a Aero C-3(?) on the right.

This Polish-built Hare was delivered to the Polish AF in August 1961 but is now stored at the back of the hangar at EPGO. The tail boom is on supports, out of shot to the right.
