One of the nine pre-production aircraft of the Tu-22M, this version was dubbed Tu-22M-0. On display at the Central Museum of the Air Force at Monino since 25 February 1975.

This Tu-22M is one of three on display in Zhulyany and is the first prototype of the Tu-22M, referred to as Tu-22M-0.
