Originally built in 1943 as Sunderland Mk.III JM719 for the RAF, converted to Mk.V in 1944. Registered to BOAC as Sandringham 7 G-AKCO 'St.George' 29 July 1947 and delivered two days later. Cancelled to Australia as VH-APG 10 May 1955, to Tahiti as F-OBIP May 1958.

Became a Sandringham 7 for BOAC as G-AKCO in Jul 1947, then sold in Australia as VH-APG in 1955 and finally to RAI in French Polynesia in 1958 until wfu in 1970. Joined the Musée de l'air in Paris in 1978. Unfortunately the aircraft was severely damaged in Feb 1984 by a strong storm.
