K25 slide scan. Built 1952 for Eastern. Acquired by Frontier Airways 1975 as an aerial applicator operating out of Sheridan, WY. The operation stopped around 1987 after sister ship N40443 had crashed on take off from Buffalo, WY 27 June 1986 killing the crew and the remaining aircraft where put into storage. Still carries faded Flamingo Airlines colours from 1972. Aircraft was dismantled 2009 with the nose section going to the National Museum of Commercial Aviation at Forest Park, GA while the remains were trucked to Greybull for further storage.
