Delivered to the USAAF as 42-68819. Post-war conversion to DC-3A and to Svenska Kyrkans Missionsstyrelse as SE-APG Feb 1946 for missionary flights, later Nordiskt Missionsflyg. To AB Aerotransport July 19848, SAS from July 1949. To SNCSAO as F-BEIS January 1951, to French Air Force as 68819, to Brabier as F-BRGI November 1972, to Yugoslav Air Force as 71237, to YU-ABW November 1979. Then it gets interesting. Sold to Atlas Aircraft in Miami, FL as N8071Z and stored at Riem. In March 1981 she was registered 9Q-CYI and flown to South Africa bypassing the UN embargo on the country and given the SAAF serial 6875. This is the second 6875, the first was written off in 1964.
