On loan to the Historic Aircraft Museum. It has for some time been "stored" in the open at The Helicopter Museum, Weston super Mare, and is in very poor condition.

Built in 1967 these are the sad remains of the sole 1967 built Gadfly autogyro. It is in open storage at the Helicopter Museum but looks beyond recovery

The sole HDW-1 Autogyro to be completed. Tested in 1967. Donated in 1973 to the Museum at Southend. Now (2015) held at the museum at Weston-super-Mare.
