This met us as we arrived at the Tucson Inn for a week stay. It was parked in the motel car park! It is now suspended from the roof in the NAS Pensacola museum.

This F4U had a relatively long service life for a WWII era prop serving from 1946 to 56 before being SOC. She then languished somewhat in California before being acquired in 1985 and restored by the wonderful National Naval Aviation Museum, where she is displayed in the colours of a VMF-312 'Checkerboards' aircraft.
