ex 60 yellow at Khodynka, this Yak-38 was first noted with the excellent Museum of Technology in Arkhangelskoye in April 2012.

This MiG-27 is marked 60 on the other side (white outline, not white digits, perhaps previously red?). However, on this side, below the grey paint, there is a red code that definitely is not 60. It is hard to tell what it is, but it seems to end with 1. What a beautiful aircraft and what would it be good to give this bird a paint job. Just imagine what it looks like when completely restored!

Preserved at the Central Aerodrome Museum at the Frunze Central Airfield/Khodynka, Moscow. The museum closed in 2003 and the aircraft moved on. The site was redeveloped.
