Correct serial is 49-1217. Preserved at the Planes of Fame Air Museum with fake serial 49-1318. Later moved to the Planes of Fame Air Museum, Valle, AZ. Exported to the UK as G-BZNL in 2000. To the Flying Heritage Collection, Seattle, WA as N4912 in 2001. May have moved to Bentonville, AR in 2023 when the collection was sold.

This is former California Air National Guard F-86A 49-1217 at the Planes of Fame Museum marked as 49-1318 that was lost in Korea in January 1952. Later the aircraft was painted with it's original serial and displayed at the museum's Valle, AZ location. Traded in 2000 for a Meteor F.4 from the Imperial War Museum, the Sabre instead went to Vulcan Warbirds (associated with the Flying Heritage collection) in 2001.
