The Andover was a military transport variant of the HS.748 airliner, with a rear loading ramp and kneeling landing gear. It equipped overseas RAF squadrons at Seletar and Sharjah until these were withdrawn. This example was eventually used for calibration duties.

Crew training prior to delivery to the RNZAF and repaint in grey/green camo, this Andover was received by the RAF as XS604 in 9.66. Sold to Eureka Aviation as 9Q-CDY in 11.96 and stored at Liege from 1.98. Broken up 9.06 but fuselage trucked away and used as a fire trainer mounted in crash position, 15km SE of Antwerp
