Began life with Northwest Orient Airlines as N134US. Finished up with Buffalo Airways as C-GYCG. Last noted in 2016 as stored Yellowknife NWT, still in the above cols.

Later to Buffalo Airways as C-FIJX.

Acquired Jul 78 ex Eastern Air Lines. Damaged beyond repair after a cockpit fire on the ground at YIP 14 Apr 93.

Acquired Dec 77 from Eastern Air Lines. Eighteen days after the above photo was taken, this aircraft was written off 30 May 84 near Chalkhill PA. It was en route BWI-YIP when an instrument failure caused the crew to lose control. Attempting to recover from an unusual attitude they overstressed the airframe which caused it to break up.

Ex Hawaiian Airlines. In the 90s it was leased several times to Channel Express Air Services (UK).

Ex Transamerica Airlines N852U. PH-LLB with KLM of origin. In Sep 86 it went to Falcon Air as SE-IVS and later Hunting Cargo Airlines as EI-CHW.

N129US with Northwest Airlines until Jan 70. A few operators later, in Dec 76, it was registered to the Cathedral of Tomorrow / Rex Humbard Foundation. Rex Humbard was an American Evangelist who became famous with his TV shows. The flags on the aircraft represent all the counties it (and the foundation) visited. By the time this photo was taken it was owned, since Sep 81, by National Leasing Corporation. To TPI International Apr 85 and re-reg N360Q 3 months later. It then went on to fly with a myriad of operators and several registrations until stored at Red Deer AB 2007 as C-GYVI Air Spray.

Landing at 8.11pm with the setting sun reflected in the engine nacelles. Withdrawn from use at Coventry in 2016.

Registered to Turbopower Inc at the time, although there are small titles on the forward fuselage that read International Airways Inc. It had been a regular at MIA as TI-LRM with LACSA in the period 1976- 1981. To TPI International as N359Q, F-OGST with STAF, again N359Q with JBQ Aviation / ALM Antillean Airlines and, in Nov 93, G-LOFA with Air Atlantique/ Atlantic Cargo/Atlantic Airlines. Retired May 98.

Ex American Airlines N6108A, registered 10th Sep 1962 and sold as 9Q-CDI June 1993. On the 8th Feb 1999 it took-off from FZAA (Kinshasa) with no copilot, only captain + flight engineer + ground engineer. Engine #3 Failure on take off and it crashed.

Ex American Airlines N6128A, registered 22nd Nov 1967 and sold as 9Q-CDG July 1993. It was written off in a landing accident FZAA (Kinshasa) 13th March 1995

Sold in the UK as G-LOFH in 2002

Ex American N6109A, registered 30th Sep 1962 and to 9Q-CXU Nov 1993

Re-reg OE-ILB Aug 98. Withdrawn from use and stored Dec 2005. Went to Buffalo Airways in July 2007 as C-FBAQ.
