First flew as a Victor B.2 on 31st December 62. Converted to K.2 tanker in 1975 and served with 55 Squadron, which marks it still wears. Flew into Bruntingthorpe 19th November 1993. Seen taxying under power at Cold War Jets Day.

Built as a Victor B.1 and later modified to the tanker role for operation by No. 57 Squadron based at RAF Marham.

Taken at my then place of work where photography was prohibited! A number of these Victors were in open storage at Radlett in Hertfordshire for many years but with the demise of Handley Page they were flown to Woodford where this aircraft awaits conversion to a K.Mk 2 tanker.

Victor tanker operated by No. 55 Squadron at its RAF Marham, Norfolk, home base. Built as a B.1 bomber in 1958 and later converted to K.1A. Struck off charge in July 1975.

Stored at Woodford after operation by the Wittering Wing (100/139 Squadrons). Converted to K.2 tanker. Retired in 1988.

Delivered to the RAF in late 1958 as a B.1A bomber. Modified to K.1A tanker and operated by the Tanker Training Flight based at RAF Marham. Disposed of in October 1974.

The prototype Victor first flew on 24.12.52 and is seen displaying at its first Farnborough SBAC show in September 1953, wearing its manufacturers two-tone colour scheme with no underwing roundels. WB771 lost its tailplane due to tail flutter on 14.07.54 and was destroyed in the ensuing fatal crash.

This was the K.2 tanker that followed Vulcan XM607 on both the trip to Ascencion and on the first Black Buck mission to bomb Port Stanley airport in 1982. Given ground instructional serial 9024M and broken up at Marham 2.96. Behind are fellow 57 Sqdn Victors XH671 (w/o 3.93 and b/u Marham) and XL162 (b/u Manston 1999)
