This T-33 served from 1958 for twenty years until it was SOC and retired to MASDC. After a second spell in the desert it was rescued in 1990 and went on to become part of the NMUSAF Loan Program and is now on display at the Southern Museum of Flight.

This C-47 was built in 1944 and served with the Navy as 50814. It then passed to the US Army Electronics Command for use as an airborne electronic test bed. In 1975 it became civil as N48211. It is now enjoying retirement in this new scheme at the super Southern Museum of Flight.

The Beech Starship with no centrally located vertical tail, canards and a pusher engine/propeller configuration was certainly distictive. It is, though, most noteworthy for being the first non-military aircraft certified by the FAA to have a carbon fibre composite airframe. This example, one of relatively few survivors from the 53 built, is on display at the Southern Museum of Flight in Birmingham, Alabama.

Of the Army Missile Command. After being retired, this C-47 served as a mosquito control aircraft in Lee County, Florida as N834M.
