Delivered in Jul-1944 to the USAAF as 43-48192, it went to the RAF in Aug-1944 as Dakota Mk.III KG776. In Jul-1946 it became G-AHLZ with the UNRRA - United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration. In Dec-1947 it was bought by JAT as YU-ABI, but delivered only in Jan-1949. It was withdrawn from service in 1970. It was destined for Yemen, but this fell through. and it was stored at Belgrade. In 1973 N94480 was allocated, but not taken up. The same with N94437 in 1974. In the end it was brought to a compound at the Muzej Vazduhoplovstva Beograd.

HO-42 is the Yugoslav utility variant of the SA-341H, and this one was built around 1979 as Yugoslav Air Force 12660. It defected to Slovenia in June 1991 where it became TO-001 (TO is Teritorialna Obramba, the Territorial Defense). It later became SL-HAA and then S5-HAA. It crashed 21-Jun-1994 in southern Slovenia. It was statically repaired (apparently with the console of HN-45M 12926 as it has its cn plate 140) and was preserved at Ljubljana-Brnik. In 2012 it went to the Park Vojaške Zgodovine (Park of Military History).

23500 is a fake serial, it really is 60123. After service it was originally in Mostar, but it moved to the Letecké Muzeum Kbely in Czechia where it was noted in Nov-2008. In 2009 it was moved to Slovenia and became an exhibit in the Park Vojaške Zgodovine (Park of Military History) in Pivka. A total of 112 Soko 522s was built, production ending in 1961.
