This Partizan has an important status within this museum as it was the first military aircraft of an independent Slovenia. This came about due to the pilot defecting in this helicopter, during the 1991 Ten Day War, from the Yugoslav AF to Slovenia. It then became SL-HAA but was retired after a mishap in 1994. In 2012 the original TO markings were restored for display at this very interesting museum.

HO-42 is the Yugoslav utility variant of the SA-341H, and this one was built around 1979 as Yugoslav Air Force 12660. It defected to Slovenia in June 1991 where it became TO-001 (TO is Teritorialna Obramba, the Territorial Defense). It later became SL-HAA and then S5-HAA. It crashed 21-Jun-1994 in southern Slovenia. It was statically repaired (apparently with the console of HN-45M 12926 as it has its cn plate 140) and was preserved at Ljubljana-Brnik. In 2012 it went to the Park Vojaške Zgodovine (Park of Military History).
