Ownership transferred to the Leicester Aircraft Preservation Group in June 1983. Crashed on 19th August 1984 at Marchington while attempting a forced landing following a progressive loss of power on both engines. 11 of 14 on board were sadly killed, including Mike Twite, then Editor of Flypast.
