In June of 2016, the squadron moved to Hyakuri AB and was the last unit to operate the legendary Phantom. It stopped flying the F-4 in October 2020 and has since relocated to Misawa to operate the new F-35s.

Those aircraft are assigned to various US Embassies around the world and are used to transport officials around in the corresponding regions. This Huron was assigned to the US Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya when this picture was taken and got grounded in Madagascar during an offical visit due to one of it's engines producing metal chips.

This Cessna 206 was based at Maun, Botswana at the time this picture was taken. However, it has been chartered by the Government of Madagascar for seismic surveys throughout the "red" island, hence the two wingtip-mounted pods carrying the corresponding sensors to do so. FUGRO was another company hired to conduct seismic surveys in 2003 and 2004.

This Cessna 206 was based at Maun, Botswana at the time this picture was taken. However, it has been chartered by the Government of Madagascar for seismic surveys throughout the "red" island, hence the two wingtip-mounted pods carrying the corresponding sensors to do so. FUGRO was another company hired to conduct seismic surveys in 2003 and 2004.

The first unit of each version was produced by McDonnell Douglas in the US, while the rest was assembled at the "Eidgenössisches Flugzeugwerk" (now RUAG Space) at Emmen AB. The Hornets are used - among other duties - for air policing and as such carry the radio frequency on the external center fuel tank, so that intercepted aircraft can contact the Hornet crew. On this picture taken on cold Winter day, the snow on the ground lights up the fuselage nicely.

Korat RTAB was built and extensively used by the USAF during the Vietnam war. This particular airframe was delivered to Thailand under the Military Assistance Program (MAP) in April of 1967 and has had the following codes applied: "1312", "10312", "23121", "71141" and finally "70141". It was last based in Surat Thani in southern Thailand, hence the additional SRT code. Apparently, it went to Nakhon Nayok in 2006 with its original code "1312" re-applied.

Tiko was the company of Marc Ravalomanana, a successful business man and Madagascar's president between 2002 and 2009. Tiko was active in the food industry, and from 2001 this CN235 was used to distribute the locally manufactured dairy prodcuts throughout Madagascar. Tiko was active in the food industry, and from 2001 this CN235 was used to distribute the locally manufactured dairy prodcuts throughout Madagascar.
