FMS serial 06-0010. A Hellenic Viper of 335 MV Tigris from Araxos air base, in take-off from Andravida during Iniochos 2024 . This Fort Worth-LMTAS built F-16C Block 52+ CF (Conformal Fuel) is an aircraft delivered in the Peace Xenia IV programme. The aircraft was delivered through Lajes/Azores on 1 September 2009.

Stored outside Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal (OGMA). This Fiat was former Luftwaffe BD+367 and BR+367, and was delivered to Portugal on 2 March 1966. It was just withdrawn from use (late 1989) when this picture was taken in early 1990. The G91 is preserved at Carvalhal Formoso (Portugal) since at last 2003.

Stored outside Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal (OGMA). This Fiat was former Luftwaffe 30+23, and was delivered to Portugal on 13 July 1976. It was withdrawn from use in 1993 and dumped at Montijo.

Maintenance with Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal (OGMA), Alverca. This Esq301 Jaguares Fiat was once Luftwaffe BD+377 and BR+377 and was delivered to Portugal on 22 March 1966. After service, it was stored at Alverca and later Montijo air base. It is preserved at the Escola de Tropas Aero Transportadas (ATAT) on pole at the Army barracks in Tancos (Portgual).

Maintenance with Indústria Aeronáutica de Portugal (OGMA), Alverca. This Esq301 Jaguares dual seat Fiat was once Luftwaffe 34+53 and was delivered to Portugal on 8 June 1982. It served Esq 303 and later Esq301. In 1994 the Fiat was stored and subsequently scrapped.

Operated by the Porteguese Air Force, this Alouette 2 belonged to the Brigada de Trânsito (BT) which was a Portuguese special traffic force, from the Republic National Guard (GNR), which controls the traffic out of the urban areas, they can in some cases act in cities, if they catch violators in those areas. They are mainly responsible for highways and national roads traffic patrolling. Serial 9208 is former Luftwaffe 76+96, became 9208, and was sold as F-GNEA in October 1993. It was later reported at 9A-HAT (seen July 2004). Later preserved at Zadar-Zemunik, Croatia on the roof of civil terminal (seen August 2006)

Alouette 2s operated by the Portuguese AF packed together, 9208 (c/n 1841) on the right, 9209 (c/n 1627) just visible on the left and 9210 on the front. This Alouette 2 was former Malagasy (Madagascar) air force serial 5R-MOA. It was first noted in 1968. Later TJ-XAO was reported as TJX-AO. On this day at OGMA Alverca, sister ship TJX-BA was also seen (c/n 2323).

Delivered to the Portuguese Air Force on 29 October 1976 as a C212B2. It was modified with a Geophysical Research modification/Magnetic Anomaly Detector (as pictured). The Aviocar was assigned to Esq 401 and seen engineless at Sintra in mid 2007. Later seen stored with the Museu do Ar at Sintra.

Delivered on 8 January 1976 as a C212-A2. Assigned to Esq503. Later reserialled into 16515. The Aviocar was stored at Lajes (Portugal) from September 2004 up to late 2010, before it was shipped back to Beja in Portugal. The aircraft departed on 21 September 2010 by truck to Porto de carga da Praia da Vitoria. It was seen in the USA at North Hollywood (CA) in early 2018 and a year later seen stored at the United Aeronautical Corporation scrap yard near Tucson (AZ).

Ex USAF 55-010. Delivered to Chad in 1988, then impounded in 1989 and stored. Sold for spares in early 1991, remains last noted in a scrapyard in Arranhó in Portugal in 2000.

Delivered to Portugal on 13 September 1977 as 6802. Reserialled in January 1994 to 16802. Assigned to Esq501. From early 2013, the Herk was seen stored at Montijo (minus two engines). Most probably still as such in 2024.

Delivered as a C212B2 to the Portuguese Air Force on 28 July 1976. It was converted for photo mapping missions. The aircraft of 401 Esq was reserialled to 16521 as of January 1994. It was seen in May 2007 at the Museu do Ar restoration hangar at Sintra, then stored at Beja, seen operational between July 2008 and April 2010 and then stored at Montijo up to 2017. It was seen in the USA at North Hollywood (CA) in early 2018 and a year seen later stored at the United Aeronautical Corporation scrap yard near Tucson (AZ).

Deployed to the Middle East, and selected for a few passes over the WDS 2024. This Warthog was most probably involved in one of the final operational deployments of the type as the USAF is slowly retiring it. 988 was built as an A-10A and delivered to RAF Bentwaters (UK) in 1983. After service with the 81st TFW it was modified to A-10C with SABCA in Belgium in 2009 and redelivered to the 52nd FW at Spangdahlem 2nd FW), It served the 510th FS, 81st FS before it was moved to the 354th FS at Davis Monthan AFB (AZ) in April 2014.

Deployed in the Middle East, most probably Al Dhafra in the UAE, this Rafale C made a few passes over the WDS 2024. The aircraft was only carrying the code GD, nothing more.

Stripped off all markings, except a part of the modex on its tail. 164601 in its final days of operational life. Delivered to the VF-124 only on 17 April 1992, the F-14D-170-GR was transferred to VF-101 in late 1994. In 1996 it was painted in a very striking desert camo colourscheme when serving VF-101. Before retirement it also served VF-31 and in it very final days, again VF-101. The F-14D is preserved at Castle (CA) since September 2005.
