Built around 1941 as a C-53 for the USAAF with serial 41-20101. It was later sold on as XT-90, N8262C and then N26H. Registered as N39DT on 04 Apr 1980. It crashed on 28 Jul 1987. Info from aerialvisuals.ca The damage to the airframe was substantial. The cargo flight departed Laredo International Airport, TX (LRD/KLRD), United States of America and was destined for Ciudad Camargo Airport, Mexico. The accident occurred at Laredo International Airport, TX (LRD) (United States of America) while in the initial climb. The airframe was damaged beyond repair.

Fennec conversion 116. Part of a batch of 6 former Haitian Air Force Fennecs imported into the US in April 1978 and entered onto the US civil register. The Fennec was a French COIN conversion of the T-28 Trojan. Originally T-28A 51-7533 it went to the French Air Force as Fennec 116. To the USA as N14144 from 1968 to 1973 then to Haiti until 1978. Still current in 2023 as N14144.

Taken during an early evening visit to the museum. The F-107A was designed for a USAF tactical fighter bomber competion in the 1950's that was won by the F-105. This is 55-5118, the first of three built and from 1957 spent time on loan to NACA as #207 on high speed flight research. First flight was on 10 Sept 1956. WFU and stored 21 Aug 1958. During the 60's the aircraft was fitted with the rear fuselage and tail of 55-5120 hence 55120 showing on the tail plane in this photo. Later transferred to the museum at Pima where it still is in 2023.
