To Caribbean Islands Air Charter on 22 July 1980. Civil registration cancelled on 22 May 2013.

Delivered new to Aeronaves de Mexico as XA-SOI on 07 Oct 1968. Noted as Aeromexico in Feb 1972. To Intercontinental Colombia as HK-3564X on 17 Jul 1990. Destroyed in a ground fire at Barranquilla on 17 Mar 1995. No injuries.

This aircraft sat at Tucson for years before finally being scrapped in January 2001 Info from Joe Baugher's excellent website. Transported Apollo 8 command module after splashdown from Hickam AFB to Long Beach in Dec 1968. Assigned N2276V Jul 15, 1978, ntu. Scrapped Jan 2001. Nose noted in National Aircraft Scrapyard, Tucson, AZ Oct 8, 2001. N2276V cancelled Feb 16, 2011.

Taken from Cessna 172M N73497 on a trip over to view the stored aircraft at Davis Monthan AFB - MASDC. Looking towards the Cochise Airlines Hangar. On the ramp is a couple of Cochise Metro's along with a Convair T-29 and a DC-3/C-47.

Seen at the Air National Guard facility at Tucson Airport. At this time the unit was not using the AZ tail code. 152nd TFTS - 162nd TFTG Arizona Air National Guard. This unit was responsible for training all the ANG A-7 units. SOC in September 1989. Currently preserved at Salinas/Camp Santiago, PR.

Operated by the Arizona Flying Club. Our ride over to view the stored aircraft at MASDC - Davis Monthan AFB from the air. Built in 1976. The registration was cancelled on 30 Oct 2007 as exported to the Philippines.

Fennec conversion 60. Part of a batch of 6 former Haitian Air Force Fennecs imported into the US in April 1978 and entered onto the US civil register. The Fennec was a French COIN conversion of the T-28 Trojan. Originally T-28A 51-3620 it went to the French Air Force as Fennec 60. To the USA as N14104 from 1968 to 1973 then to Haiti until 1978. Still current in 2023 as N14104.

Converted to a water bomber and operated by Waig Aircraft Inc. Built as a C-54D for the USAAF as 42-72645 and delivered on 01 Jun 1945. Transferred to the RAF as KL984 on 23 Jun 1945. Transferred to the US Navy/Marines as 91998 on 23 Feb 1946. Converted to a R5D-5 in Dec 1958. Later converted to a C-54J then a C-54Q. WFU and stored at Davis Monthan in Oct 1970. Registered as N96449 with Waig Aircraft Inc on 12 Dec 1975, Crashed on 02 Dec 1980 returning to Tucson from Ryan Field after being released from fire fighting duties. Registration cancelled on 15 Apr 1982.

Built around 1941 as a C-53 for the USAAF with serial 41-20101. It was later sold on as XT-90, N8262C and then N26H. Registered as N39DT on 04 Apr 1980. It crashed on 28 Jul 1987. The cargo flight departed Laredo International Airport, TX (LRD/KLRD), United States of America and was destined for Ciudad Camargo Airport, Mexico. The accident occurred at Laredo International Airport, TX (LRD) (United States of America) while in the initial climb. The airframe was damaged beyond repair.

Cochise Airlines were a regional commuter airline based at Tucson and operated between 1971 and 1982. Behind is N23AZ c/n TC-260. N25AZ had only been delivered new this very month Oct 1978. To Air Virginia in Apr 1984. Renamed as AVAir on 15 May 1985. To Air Midwest in Feb 1986 and to Nashville Eagle in Jan 1988. WFU at Greenwood, MS in Dec 1990 and cancelled as broken up on 04 Feb 1991.

To Trans Texas Airlines on 20 May 1961. Converted to a CV-600 in 1966. Noted as Texas International on 31 Oct 1968. WFU and stored at Ryan Field AZ. Bought by SMB Stage Line on 19 Jan 1978. To Wright Airlines on 30 Jan 1981. Returned to SMB Stage Line in Feb 1989. To Kitty Hawk Airways 29 Oct 1991. WFU at Sherman-Grayson TX in Apr 1995 and broken up.

Delivered to American Airlines on 30 Nov 1948 as a Convair 240 registered N94215. To Trans Texas Airlines on 25 Aug 1964. Converted to a CV-600 in Jun 1966. Noted as Texas International on 31 Oct 1968. WFU and stored at Ryan Field AZ. Bought by SMB Stage Line 19 Jan 1978. WFU and stored at Tucson and broken up in Aug 1993.

Taken during an early evening visit to the museum. Operated by the 141st TFS - 108th TFG - New Jersey ANG McGuire AFB, NJ when it arrived at MASDC for storage on 12 Jan 1965. To the right is F-86L 53-965 / FU-965 c/n 201-409 of the 194th FIS - 144th FIG California ANG based at Fresno Air Terminal, CA. It arrived at MASDC for storage the day before on 11 Jan 1965.

Taken during an early evening visit to the museum. The F-107A was designed for a USAF tactical fighter bomber competion in the 1950's that was won by the F-105. This is 55-5118, the first of three built and from 1957 spent time on loan to NACA as #207 on high speed flight research. First flight was on 10 Sept 1956. WFU and stored 21 Aug 1958. During the 60's the aircraft was fitted with the rear fuselage and tail of 55-5120 hence 55120 showing on the tail plane in this photo. Later transferred to the museum at Pima where it still is in 2023.

Seen on an early evening visit to the museum. Operated by VT-26 based at NAS Chase Field, TX it had originally arrived at MASDC for storage on 14 Jun 1967 with inventory number 5F017. By 1980 it was painted in Blue Angels colours. In 2010 it was mounted on a pole at the Grand Junction Airport, CO on loan from the National Naval Aviation Museum.
