This Fishbed is preserved as part of a memorial park to Rudolf Perešin, a Croatian fighter pilot serving in the Yugoslav AF (JRZ) during the 1991-95 Croatian War of Independence. Perešin defected to the Croatian side in October 1991 by flying his MiG-21 from Željava AB to Klagenfurt, Austria.. He was the first pilot to desert from the JRZ. and following his defection he continued to fly missions for the Croatian AF. He was shot down and killed in May 1995 by Serbian Krajina military forces.

This Fishbed is in reality 113 but was given this fake serial for some reason after renovation (the real 115 is preserved as a gate guard outside Pula AB). Now preserved in front of the Fakultet strojarstva i brodogradnje, Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb).

Stored in 2001 and probably scrapped by now.

The Bulgarian AF received a total of 224 MiG-21 aircraft, of these 72 were MiG-21bis variant, the ultimate development of the series. Note, presumably this plane is a MiG-21bis-SAU but I don't see it designated as such anywhere.

BADAL formation flying past OD Fort at Prayagraj in the afternoon during the Full Dress Rehearsal for the 91st anniversary celebrations of the Indian Air Force, which was raised on 08 Oct 1932. This is the last appearance of the legendary MiG-21 at an Indian airshow, which was inducted into the IAF in April 1963.

On display at IAF Museum Palam with the emblem of No. 8 Sqn "Eight Pursoots." Inducted into the IAF in Apr 1963, the MiG-21F-13 or Type 74 equipped No. 28 Sqn "First Supersonics" under Wg Cdr Dilbagh Singh, followed by the PF and licence-built FL or Type 77 with R2L radar. The FL was used to good effect in the 1971 Indo-Pak War on both fronts. In the west, FLs from No. 47 Sqn "Black Archers" and No. 29 Sqn "Scorpions" shot down four PAF F-104s without loss, besting the Starfighter. The last FLs were retired in Dec 2013. The 57° wing sweep is visible with a span of 7.15 m and area of 23.04 m².
