Ala 11 is one of Spain's combat wings, flying the Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon (or Tifón in Spanish) from Morón. The wing badge can be seen on the tail of C.16-51. It depicts three birds and their motto "Vista, Suerte Y al Toro" (meaning sight, luck and to the bull). Albacete is home of NATO's Tactical Leadership Programme (TLP), and during one of these exercises C.16-51 with code 11-51 was photographed returning from a mission.
