Ala 11 is one of Spain's combat wings, flying the Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon (or Tifón in Spanish) from Morón. The wing badge can be seen on the tail of C.16-27. It depicts three birds and their motto "Vista, Suerte Y al Toro" (meaning sight, luck and to the bull). Gando, Canary Islands, is home of exercise Ocean Sky, where C.16-27 with code 11-27 was pictured whilst returning from a mission.
