The former Sha's palace became a public terrain with various monuments, gardens and museums. The military museum housed four aircraft in 2007. One of those is this War bounty, a former Iraqi Mi-25. It was a bit hard to photograph though.

Once operated from Leipheim, the G-91R3 is one of the central exhibits of the Fliegerhorstmuseum Leipheim. It has been on base for a long time, first reports date from July 1980. The left side of this aircraft, seen here, bears its original serial 3138, whereas the right side sports fake serial 3144.

TLG 31 is known as the Boelcke Geschwader, named after Oswald Boelcke, a fighter ace of WW I fame and named as the father of the German fighter air force. The EF-2000s of this unit carry the crest with red wings and a sword on the tail. Eurofighter with serial 3138 is seen here at its homebase Nörvenich in February 2021.
