Delivered new to the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1960 as 9406. Military service included deployment to Lahore, Pakistan in 1965 to support a United Nations operation supervising a cease-fire between Pakistan and India, returning to Canada in 1966. Began civilian life in 1982. When a sale to Colombia fell through, registered to Fort Frances Sportsmen Airways, a company associated with Northern Wilderness Outfitters, in 1984. After substantial damage in a takeoff accident in strong, gusty and variable wind conditions in 1998, rebuilt as a Vazar turbine conversion and re-entered service in 2000.

Delivered to the US Army as 59-2210 in December 1959, this Otter was struck off strength in 1973. Bought by Laurentian Air Services, the aircraft was refurbished and put into service as C-GLAB in August 1974. It flew around the province of Ontario until 1981 when it moved to Quebec with Air Schefferville. It remained in Quebec with several other bush operators until acquired by Wilderness Air in May 2000. Based in Vermilion Bay, C-GLAB was converted to a Vazar Turbine Otter over the winter of 2007 / 08.

Departing from Northern Wilderness Outfitters' base on Rainy Lake beside and to the north of Highway 11. Delivered new to the US Army in 1959 as 58-1692 and saw service in Vietnam. Joined Fort Frances Sportsmen Airways / Northern Wilderness Outfitters in 1984. Received a Vazar turbine conversion to PT-6A power over the winter of 1997/98. Later repainted into dark red/purple and silver colours, retaining Northern Wilderness Outfitters titles.

Seen here taxiing across Lake Hood. Delivered new to the Ghana Air Force as G307 in December 1961. Returned to Canada to be rebuilt and civilianised in 1974. Flew as C-GLCR in 1976. Became N2899J in 1986, joining Rust's in 1989. Vazar Turbine conversion was carried out in 2000 in Victoria BC, returning to Rust's service thereafter.

Taxied out from the mouth of the Campbell River and is now well into its takeoff run in the open waters of Discovery Passage, with Quadra Island forming the background to a lively departure.

Making an evening arrival at Nanaimo and just about to pass through the harbour entrance to moor at the seaplane docks. Carrying Harbour Air titles and the fleet number "312", but still wearing earlier Northern Pacific Seaplanes colours from its time at Prince Rupert BC. Repainted into standard Harbour Air colours the following year.

Taxiing through the narrow channel connecting Victoria's Outer and Inner Harbours and heading towards the seaplane docks. After three years in storage, bought by Harbour Air in 2011 and given a Vazar turbine conversion. Joined Harbour Air's active service in white and yellow colours in 2012 with fleet number "319". Repainted into the later blue and white scheme by May 2016.

Taxiing out from Victoria's Inner Harbour through the narrow connecting channel to depart from the more open water of the Outer Harbour. Built in 1960 for the Royal Canadian Air Force. Vazar turbine conversion for Harbour Air was carried out over the winter of 2002/03.

In the striking colours of an independent Whistler Air's final scheme, sitting at its base on the appropriately named Green Lake at Whistler, awaiting its next business. Beyond the glacial lake, forest fire smoke obscures the mountains in the middle distance. Taken over by Harbour Air in 2012, and by 2015 repainted in a variant of Harbour Air's own colours albeit retaining Whistler Air titles.

After landing in Victoria's Outer Harbour, taxiing through the narrow connecting channel into the Inner Harbour where the seaplane docks are located. Delivered new to the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1960 as 9402.

Making the necessarily steep approach, arriving over the city, to land in Victoria's Outer Harbour. Right wing badly damaged overnight 20/21 February 2020 while moored in Vancouver Harbour, after being struck by a stolen Seair Beaver which itself lost a wing completely.

Making its way along the passage from Victoria's Inner Harbour to the more open water of the Outer Harbour for departure. Carries a special colour scheme promoting Seattle's King5 TV Evening Magazine programme about news and events in the Pacific Northwest.

Making a late morning arrival at the mouth of the Campbell River and taxiing past Painter's Lodge Resort on the far shore. In 2015 repainted into an overall black and white colour scheme representing a killer whale in order to promote the "Wild Orca"organisation, founded by two Kenmore pilots to support these animals inhabiting local waters.

Seen at its Campbell River Airport base. Western Straits Air was a trading name of Gynn Bay Logging Ltd, to whom the aircraft was registered. In September 1995 the aircraft was returning from Triumph Bay on a VFR flight with a logging party of nine on board.Weather at the Airport was poor, with a low overcast, light rain and fog. While attempting an approach, the aircraft flew straight and level into a densely wooded hill in heavy fog, killing the pilot and seven passengers. The aircraft was destroyed. The company did not survive this tragic event and its remaining aircraft were soon sold.

Taxiing in to its Jackson Air Services base at Channing, near Flin Flon. As a result of a merger and the retiral of its longtime owners, Jackson Air Services became Wings Over Kississing in 2007.

Returning back to base in Campbell River's sheltered harbour after another sortie on behalf of Vancouver Island Air, for which it commenced operations in 2008. Rejoined Harbour Air in 2011.
