This Sirius belongs to one of the local flight schools and was nicely parked during my visit.

This P-149D was previously AC448, JC390, AS445 and 9089 with the West German AF before being placed on the civil register. It was sitting nicely for a photograph during my visit to EDCM.

This Morava flew previously with the Czechoslovak AF as '0320' and then SNA Žilina and Svazarm Aeroklub, the latter as OK-OKZ. The plane was withdrawn from use at Schwerin - Parchim (SZW / EDOP) in 2005, where it remained until 2016 when it was bought by and transported to this very interesting museum.

This 134 was handed over to the Privolzhsk directorate of Aeroflot in July 1972 but later damaged beyond economical repair during a hard landing at Erfurt and withdrawn from the fleet in September 1984. It was donated (or sold) to East Germany, repaired, ferried to Schoenefeld (SXF) in July 1985, dismantled and transported by road to Wartin (near Angermünde) for use as an anti-terrorist trainer at the MfS training centre. In January 1990 it was handed over to the district of Angermünde and later used as a restaurant at Grünz, before being dismantled and transported to this museum in late 2017.

This Beagle flew from 1954 until 1961 with the Soviet AF based in East Germany but after 1961 it was transferred to the NVA - LSK/LV and flew with Zieldarstellungsstaffel-21 (ZDS-21) at Cottbus - Drehwitz. In August 1968 the plane was SOC and used as a spares source before the remains appear to have been unceremoniously dumped in a nearby gravel pit. Thankfully, the remains were dug up in 2005 and the nose is now on display at this super museum.

This Fw-190 was badly damaged when its hangar was destroyed by Russian ground fire at Finsterwalde, Germany. It is now on display in its unrestored condition at this super museum.

This An-2 was originally delivered as CCCP-62671 to the Kazakhstan directorate of Aeroflot in June 1978. It transferred to the Lithaunia directorate in 1991 and went on to fly with the Lithuanian AF as '17 yellow' after which it was placed pn the civil register as LY-APH. The plane was bought in May 2007 by the Antonov Club Avianna of Winterthur and ferried to Switzerland in September 2007 and it is now based at LSZF.

Preserved on a concrete block at the entrance to LSZF.

The true identity of this Starfighter is 2417 and it is preserved at the entrance to the airport.

This 134 was initailly delivered to the East German AF in July 1971. It flew initially with Interflug colours but later flew for just over a year with the military serial '182', before joining the mainline fleet of Interflug in May 1977. The plane was retired in September 1989 and made its last flight in January 1990 to Lahr (LHA), prior to preservation outside this aerospace precision tooling company.

This 77W was originally delivered to Swiss in March 2017. It had arrived the previous day from Beijing (PEK) and is pictured parked up at the satelite to await its departure to Tokyo (NRT) later that evening.

This E2 was delivered to Helvetic in January 2021 and is pictured as LX1575, taxying in after the flight from Vienna (VIE).

SMF901 is pictured lifting off rw28 at the start if its flight down to Tripoli (MJI). The frame was originally delivered to Premiair in July 2000 as OY-VKG and went on to fly with (sometimes on lease) MyTravel, Garuda and, of course, Thomas Cook Scandinavia. It started flying with San Marino Executive Aviation from May 2021.

This 734 was originally delivered to Pegasus as TC-AFA but went on to fly with many other operators before finding a second life as a freighter. It is pictured here lined up on rw26L and about to depart as BCS63H for the flight up to Oslo (OSL).

This 321 was originally delivered to Swissair as HB-IOJ in November 1998. It went on to fly with Swiss and Air Méditerranée before freighter conversion around the end of 2017. It served as the A321PCF prototype and finally joined SmartLynx Cargo in June 2021.

This 757 was originally delivered to American as N660AM in January 1992 and flew with the airline until finally withdrawn from the fleet and sent to Roswell (ROW) for storage in September 2015. Fortunately, it escaped the 'Land of Sand' and and a date with the axeman, instead underwent freighter conversion and delivery to Olympus in December 2019.

This A300 was originally delivered to Japan Air System in September 1992 as JA8559. It also went on to fly with Japan Airlines beforefreighter conversion and delivery to EAT in April 2013. It is pictured lined up on rw26l about to depart as D02218 for the flight to London (LTN).

This Hoplite was built in December 1974 and flown by the border guard division of the Polish AF. After decomissioning it was bought by a family in southern Germany as a playhouse for the grandchildren. It was seen by gallery owners, who brought the machine to Munich and had it painted by street artists. The 'work of art' was exhibited at the Berlin Art Salon 2009, the Urban Art Fair Munich 2009 and Art Karlsruhe 2010 before it arrived in Bernried in 2014.

The owner/curator told me that this hulk has been sold and will shortly be transported to (somewhere in) Austria.
