This Dominie was badly damaged on 23 April 2013 while parked at Kandahar (Afghanistan). A huge hailstorm damaged this aircraft as well as about eighty (!) US Army aircraft/helicopters. ZD704 was deemed unable to fly, and the USAF supported the British Forces in dismantling the aircraft so it could be transported back to the UK. An RAF assessment resulted in damaged beyond economical repair. The CC3 was stored at St.Athan up to Nov'14, then stored with Marshalls at Hawarden till Jan'15. It became an instructional airframe at the Defence Fire Training & Development Center at Manston from Oct'15.

Military activity at Kabul airport. The BAe125 dropped some military personnel and left as quickly as it came. ZD620 is preserved at the Bournemouth Aviation Museum since late 2016.
