This 228 has a nice cartoon artwork applied to the nose, depicting a Dornier aircraft doing a scenic flight over the Grand Canyon. It was test-flown in 1987 as D-CBDX, then delivered to Fischer Brothers Aviation (operating for Midway Connection) as N264MC in Feb 1988. It was wfu in Sep 1991, then sold to Martinaire in May 1994. It served with them until sold to Vision Air as N405VA in Dec 2002. The aircraft was permanently withdrawn from use on 30 Jun 2017 and stored here at North Las Vegas Airport. The Dornier has been here ever since, owned by the International Bank Of Commerce since Feb 2019.

To Precision Airlines (operating for Eastern Express) in Aug 1988, but transferred to Midway Commuter as N279MC in Sep 1989. Sold to Martinaire in Jul 1994, serving with them until sold to Vision Air as N404VA in Dec 2005. The aircraft was permanently withdrawn from use on 30 Jun 2017 and stored here at North Las Vegas Airport. It's been here ever since, owned by the International Bank Of Commerce since Feb 2019.

Registered as VH-AIW then N421NE in 1980. Withdrawn from use at Las Vegas by 1989. Moved to the Allied yard next to Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ by 1994. Still there in 2007. Gone by 2008. Probably scrapped.

Leased to Sun Country Airlines from Dan-Air London. Delivered to CP Air as C-GCPA in 1975. To Dan-Air London as G-BKAG in 1982 then to Royale Airlines as C-GRYC in 1992. To Finova Capital and converted to a freighter then to All Canada Express as C-FACR in 1998 and Allied Air Cargo as 5N-RKY in 2005. Withdrawn from use at Lagos in 2013 and later scrapped.

Former USAF 53-044. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ in 1974. Preserved at the Northwest corner of Las Vegas airport for many years. It was to be used as a restaurant but this never happened and it was scrapped in 2001.

Delivered to Fortuna as HP-710 in 1975 then to the Panama Air Force as FAP 210 in 1978. To Scenic Airlines as N7020J in 1988 and converted to a VistaLiner with large windows. Reregistered as N234SA in 1989. To Air Fiji as DQ-AFM in 1993. Sold as N448CS in 2004 then to Los Cedros Aviacion as CC-CST in 2005 then to Aerocord as CC-CFN in 2008. Wings at Calgary, AB in 2023.

Not a real blimp, as the preceding GZ-20A bearing the same registration, but a new semi-rigid airship filled with Helium. There are three Zeppelin NT in the Goodyear fleet, and all were assembled at Wingfoot Lake in Northeast Ohio. This is the last one, completed in 2018 and christened on 30 August 2018. Notable is the propulsion and maneuvering system, consisting of two side-mounted and tiltable propellers (tilted upward in the photo) and one tail-mounted tiltable propeller (tilted downward in the photo).
