The 93rd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Makos" is part of the US Air Force Reserve Command's 482d Fighter Wing at Homestead Air Reserve Base (FL). Since October 1978, the squadron was equipped with F-4 Phantom, initially the F-4C (up to 1983), and then the F-4D (up to November 1989). It then started to fly the Fighting Falcon. This 6692 was flown over to Davis Monthan in July 1989 (inventory code AA FP0279) and eventually scrapped by February 2012. In the back ground 66-873/FM is seen, that aircraft was also scrapped by February 2012.

Not the very best picture as the dark green F-4D was pictured against the light and we were not allowed to get on the ramp of Homestead. This F-4D and its crew were responsible for the last USAF MiG-kill in Southeast Asia. On 8 January 1973, when the F-4 was assigned to the 4th TFS, 432d TRW (UD tailcode) and performing a night MiGCAP mission in support of B-52 strikes, it managed to shot down a MiG-21 that was operating out of Phuc Yen. The F-4D survived the time and at the time of upload it was preserved at the William E. Dyess Elementary School at Dyess AFB.

The first F-35A for Australia was assigned to USAF's 61st Fighter Squadron for training.

Manufactured in Apr'89 and was delivered to MAP MVZ im. Milya. The Mi-26T visited Schiphol-Oost without company titles. The helicopter flew some off shore trail missions together with Dutch Navy Lynx's. It was transferred to TyumenAviaTrans as RA-06121 in '93 and to UTair in Jul'03. Ten years later is was leased to the United Nations as UN-156 and returned to UTair in '05, still RA-06121. As such, the Mi-26T crashed near Tailakovo, Central South Russia during underslung operations on 6 Dec'11. Its tailboom broke off due to fatigue cracks. The Mi-26 crashed from 60m, killing one of six crew.

This F-4D arrived from Carswell (TX) at Selfridge (MI) with some mechanical problems in June 1988. As the 457th was nearing a transfer to F-4E, the USAF decided to leave the old F-4D at Selfridge, awaiting what to do. Eventually, the aircraft was used for Aircraft Battle Damage Repair training at Selfridge. Luckely, I pictured the Phantom before it was tortured. In May 1990, the F-4D was donated to the Freedom Memorial Park, Sterling Heights (MI) where it arrived in August 1990.

After retirement in late 1989, this dual seat Corsair was transferred to the 166th TFS within the Ohio Air National Guard. After retirement, the A-7K was flown to AMARC for storage on 24 September 1992. It received inventory code AE0216. In May 1998 it was unfortunately scrapped in May 2012 by HVF West Yard.

After retirement in late 1989, this Corsair was transferred to the 198th TFS with the Puerto Rico Air National Guard. After that, the SLUF was flown to AMARC for storage. It received inventory code AE0184 on 26 May 1998. In July 1992 it was moved to the HVF West Yard Scrapyard.

Maintenance outside. After retirment with the 107th in late 1989, the Corsair was transferred to the Virginea Air National Guard with the 149th TFS. After April 1990, the various databases lost track of this A-7D.

After retirment with the 107th in late 1989, the Corsair was transferred to the 6512th Test Squadron at Edwards. After that service, it was preserved at Eastover - McEntire ANGS (SC).
