This Ae-45 was built in 1949 and served as '491' with the Czechoslovak Air Force in the 50th Liaison Air Regiment based at Klecany. The plane was decomisiioned in 1959, given the registration OK-DMO and allocated to Svazam Prague (the Czech equivalent to DOSAAF). The plane later flew with Aeroklub Tábor and is now on display in the main hangar of the Letecké Muzeum Kbely.

This Ae-45 was built in 1949 and served as '491' with the Czechoslovak Air Force in the 50th Liaison Air Regiment based at Klecany. After WWII, the Czechoslovak Security Air Force of the National Security Corps used Ae-45 adapted for patrol and liaison duties. Only the tail of the real OK-BYE (cn 50076) has survived but has proved a valuable colour reference, along with photographic evidence for the restoration of OK-EGN in its place The finished aircraft is now on display in a brand new hangar at the super Kbely museum.
