On 9 January 2019, this 2000D of EC 001.03 "Navarre" was performing a mission in instrument flight conditions in a restricted area. After ten minutes of flight in the Defence Very Low Altitude Network field tracking mode, the crew was tasked to perform a SCALP firing pass simulation. Radar and radio contact was lost as the aircraft flew over the Mignovillard forest in a right-hand turn. Aircraft wreckage was found at the end of the day 2 kilometres south-east of this commune. The crew died.

Caracal of EH 1/67

Former 79-0017, this Eagle was sold to the Royal Saudi Air Force as 4206 on 20 September 1990 and re-serialled to 608, then to 208.

2461 is the EC725R2 Recherche Et Sauvetage u Combat (RESCO, Combat Search and Rescue) prototype. The Caracal had Eurocopter test registration F-ZVMC in 1999 and became F-ZKDH in september 2000. It was assigned IH within EET 6/330 from September 2001 to 2003 before it became F-ZKDA with Eurocopter. It was first noted with code SA with EH 1/67 in June 2005. In the background EC725R2 serial 2626/SD is seen.

Within a month after this picture was taken, on 12 May 2014, this Mirage 2000-5F crashed for unknown reasons. Number seventy came down in a field, some 100 kilometers north of Nancy. The pilot was able to eject safely.

T-255 was delivered to 334sq/Eindhoven on 25 Oct'04. The DC-10 arrived in the Netherlands in basic United Airlines c/s with 82,000 flight hrs on its clocks and with its former registration N1858U. Before its delivery, it has been stored at Marana (AZ) for some 3 years. On 01 Nov'05 it became T-255 and was converted in Italy for transport tasks. Due to cost reductions within the Dutch MoD, the DC-10 was only modified with a new cockpit and for personnel transport tasks. Further dwindling resulted in phasing out the a/c. Last flight on 29 Dec'13, and flown over to the UK for scrap on 11 Apr'14

This Block 30 Fighting Falcon is USAF serial 85-1373. The F-16N was newly delivered to the US Navy on 23 June 1987 and started to serve Top Gun from NAS Miramar (CA). After a lot of dog fights, the Falcon arrived at AMARC on 30 June 1994 for storage. It received inventory code AN1F0003. On 13 March 1998 it was transferred to the USAF at AMARC and received a new inventory code; AAFG0426. The airframe was sadly scrapped on 9 August 2013.

This is a F/A-18A Block 14 from FY83. F/A-18A-14 (fy83). From the beginning the Hornet was assigned to VMFA-314, was transferred to the US Navy (VFA-97) in late 1993 and continued to fly with VFC-13. In March 1996 the aircraft was transferred back to the USMC and started to serve with VMFA-134. From 28 April 2004, it was stored at AMARC with inventory code 1A0073.

This is a F/A-18A Block 15 from FY83. The aircraft strated its Marines career with VMFA-323, followed by VMFA-314. In March 1994 is was send to Naval Air Deport North Island (CA), for unknown reasons it stayed there, was eventually moved to China Lake where it was scrapped by 2008. It is reported that the cockpit section is still present at China Lake.

This Satan's Kittens Cat, assigned to CVW-10. The squadron was established on 1 December 1986 and already disestablished on 30 April 1988. Stored at AMARC on 17 August 1990 with inventory number 1K0008, it was scrapped with HVF West at Tucson on 17 October 1994

This is a F/A-18A Block 14 from FY83, the aircraft crashed during the open house at MCAS El Toro (CA) after is was not able to recover from a looping on 24 April 1988. The pilot escaped and the aircraft was rebuild but not taken up anymore in the operational inventory. It was decided to preserve it, and is shown at Carson City (NV) in the Cactus air museum.

Hawkeye turning into finals at Miramar. The VAW-117 Wallbangers aircraft was assigned to the Carrier Air Wing 11 / USS Enterprise team. The E-2C is stored at AMARG since 28 October 2004 with inventory number 2E0043.

This Hawkeye was last seen at the dump of NAS North Island (CA) in March 2001. It was reported there from 1993 onwards. The aircraft was struck of charge from US Navy inventory in September 1998. So most probably... it does not exist anymore. It is seen here in 1987 while while assigned to Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 110 (VAW-110), nicknamed the "Firebirds". VAW-110 was a Fleet Replacement Squadron for the E-2 Hawkeye and was disestablished in September 1994.

This E-2C is preserved at NAS Atlanta (GA) as AF-00 since November 1997. Here the aircraft is seen in a speedy landing to NAS Miramar, while assigned to Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron 110 (VAW-110), nicknamed the "Firebirds". VAW-110 was a Fleet Replacement Squadron for the E-2 Hawkeye and was disestablished in September 1994.

Parked at the gate of Ramat David air base, the construction number as well as its Bureau Number of this Ayit are unknown.
