Former Swedish Air Force 35417 was withdrawn from use by the Ilmavoimat (Finnish Air Force) in 1998. The Draken was stored at Halli and eventually scrapped by August 2001. DK-225 is seen here during its landing at its then homebase Tampere, the double tailwheel was necessary to prevent tail strikes.

DK-265 (ex Flygvapnet 35489) is reported as withdrawn from use in 2004. It was then used as an instructional airframe at Tampere College. The airframe was then seen preserved outside the airport at Oulu (Finland). It was destined for educational purposes with the Oulu airport fire department. During preparations for a transport to Kauhava in 2007, it was badly damaged by vandals at Oulu. The Ilmavoimat continued the transport and the Draken was eventually used by the fire department at Kauhava. It was last reported stored at Halli in late 2013.

This PA-31 is former OH-PAO which was delivered to the Ilmavoimat as PC-3 on 31 May 1983. It was withdrawn from use in 2010. IT was stoired at Hali and subsequently delivered as an instructional airframe at the Technical School at Mänttä.

Delivered to the Ilmavoimat in late 1980. The Hawk was withdrawn from use on 6 Ocvtober 2009 and stored for destinbation Tikkakoski museum. It was then reported as preserved for the Aviation museum of Central Finland and was delivered in the mid-2010s.

Built as an F-18C and first flown in late 1996. Delivered to the Ilmavoimat in early 1997 and assigned to KoeLtue. Later moved to HävLLv 21 (as pictured). The Hornet also served HävLLv 31 and 21, was modified in a Mid-Life Update (MLU2) which was finished by late 2016. It was redesignated into F/A-18C.

Former Swedish Air Force 35812 was delivered to the Ilmavoimat on 14 June 1984. The dual seat Draken made its last operational flight on 16 August 2000 and was withdrawn from use. It was flown over to Jyväskylä on 23 August 2000, and that marked its very last flight. The beauty is now preserved at Tikkakoski at Keski-Suomen Ilmailmuseo

This Satan's Kittens Cat was assigned to CVW-10. The squadron was established on 1 December 1986 and already disestablished on 30 April 1988. The Cat was written off with VF-114 in a crash on 17 May 1990.

Fighter Squadron (VF) 194 "Red Lightnings" was a short-lived Tomcat unit. It was re-established on 1 Dec'86 and disestablished on 30 Apr'88. VF-194 was planned together with VF-191 for a cruise on the USS Independence as part of CVW-10, but before the cruise could take place the squadron and wing ceased to exist. The squadron lineage runs back to 1952 as it was originally established as VF-91 on 26 Mar'52, redesignated VF-194 on 1 Aug'63 and disestablished on 1 Mar'78. This 161297 was delivered to the USN on 2 Mar'82, retired to AMARC on 13 Sep'04 and left for HVF West for scrap on 22 Jul'09.

The pilots of the F27 fleet of the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) always enjoyed their take-off, directly after rotation they often selected gear-up. And that resulted in some nice photos! Here C-8 is seen just after take-off. The Troopship made its first flight on 6 Oct'60 as PH-FBW and was delivered to the KLu on 28 Dec'60. The aircraft was also used as demo aircraft from 1994 onwards and gave through the years a spectaular show. It was withdrawn from use in Aug'96 and became a gate-guard in late 1997. In late 2003 it became an instructional airframe at Eindhoven.

to AMARC with ivneotry code CF197 on 10 February 2003 and moved to HVF West, Tucson (AZ) for scrap on 28 February 2013.

Delivered factory-fresh to Soesterberg on 14 November 1980 and served the 32nd Tactical Fighter Squadron "Wolfhounds" up to 1990. Here the Eagle is seen in its element, with live weapons (AIM-7 and AIM-9 and on board gun), during a Scramble from its homebase. The F-15C was sold (unmarked) to the Royal Saudi Air Foprce as 4203 on 17 September 1990.
