This is a test and development prototype with the manufacturer's designation T8-15 and the code 15 blue. It was used for the testing of the new R195 engine. However, for the Paris Air Show this was replaced by a standard R95Sh engine because the R195 was still secret, and the code was changed to 301 blue which actually was the Le Bourget exhibit code. In 1990 it was converted to a Su-25BM prototype (Sukhoi designation T8BM-2). It later went to the Central Aerodrome Museum at Moscow-Khodynka and when that closed in 2003 it went to the Museum of Technology of Vadim Zadorozhny in Arkhangelskoye.

The air base of Byaroza in today's Belarus was home of the 927 istrebitelnyy aviatsionnyy polk (927 iap) which deployed from here to Afghanistan in 1983-1984. The regiment and its MiG-29s were transferred to Belarusian control when the Soviet-Union broke-up in 1992. A park on Lenin Street has three aircraft on display, one of them being this Su-25, which was first seen here in January 2010.

A small park in the town of Pruzhany, in Southwestern Belarus, houses a Mi-24V and this Su-25 with bort 07 white. 206 otdelnyy shturmovoy aviatsionnyy polk (oshap) received its first Su-25s in 1985, when based at nearby Pruzhany air base, before it moved to Lida in 1993, after being brought under Belarusian control following the dissolution of the Soviet-Union in 1992.

The Stalin Line Museum near Minsk depicts the history of the Stalin Line, a defence network to protect Minsk from German invasion. A row of aircraft is present here as well, like this Su-25 with bort 26 white.
