This 228 has a nice cartoon artwork applied to the nose, depicting a Dornier aircraft doing a scenic flight over the Grand Canyon. It was test-flown in 1987 as D-CBDX, then delivered to Fischer Brothers Aviation (operating for Midway Connection) as N264MC in Feb 1988. It was wfu in Sep 1991, then sold to Martinaire in May 1994. It served with them until sold to Vision Air as N405VA in Dec 2002. The aircraft was permanently withdrawn from use on 30 Jun 2017 and stored here at North Las Vegas Airport. The Dornier has been here ever since, owned by the International Bank Of Commerce since Feb 2019.

To Precision Airlines (operating for Eastern Express) in Aug 1988, but transferred to Midway Commuter as N279MC in Sep 1989. Sold to Martinaire in Jul 1994, serving with them until sold to Vision Air as N404VA in Dec 2005. The aircraft was permanently withdrawn from use on 30 Jun 2017 and stored here at North Las Vegas Airport. It's been here ever since, owned by the International Bank Of Commerce since Feb 2019.

First flew as D-ICOG then leased to Norving as LN-HPG for a few days and returned to Dornier as D-ICOG in 1982. Withdrawn from use by 1993 and became an instructional airframe at the Al-Ain Aviation Academy.

Registered as D-CIMA in 1986. To the Nigerian Air Border Patrol Unit as 5N-AUY in 1989. Withdrawn from use at Kaduna in 2004. Was to be restored for the Nigeria Air Force as NAF037 but this was cancelled due to corrosion. Still at Kaduna in 2018.

Built in 1988, ex D-CBDT and D-CIKI. Titles of its last operator, Aerocon, who ceased operations in 2015, are still visible. Current status uncertain.

Delivered in March 1986 (D-CELO), it was probably the only serviceable transport aircraft in the Niger Air Force at the date of the photograph.

Built for the Nigerian company Jambo Air Lines as 5N-AQO, but was not delivered. Delivered as 5N-ARI instead to Project Management Air Services Ltd., a subsidiary company of Aeronautical Industrial Engineering and Project Management Company Ltd. (AIEP), a non-scheduled air charter company operating from the Old Kaduna Airport. The aircraft was damaged beyond economical repair in a landing accident at Eket Airstrip/DNEK on February 26, 1992. All occupants (2/10) were uninjured.
