On outdoor display at the museum with "Air North" titles, the Fairbanks-based airline for which this aircraft operated in the mid and late 1970s. The '456' on the fin is a remnant of '456-5555' (presumably a phone number), which this aircraft carried on the fin many years ago. The revised wingtips and engine cowlings and the fully-enclosing landing gear doors show that this is a Hamilton Little Liner conversion, and not a regular Beech 18.
